Geneva facilities
Our Geneva campus, located 50 miles northwest of lthaca at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station, houses primarly fruit and vegetable research.
- Research facilities for the department include three laboratory buildings, Hedrick and Sturtevant Halls and half of the Surge Laboratory, with research and office space for faculty, technical staff, and graduate students.
- The Geneva Library provides advanced reference services, access to paper texts from any library and direct electronic access to all Cornell library resources, as well as Cornell's collection of wine monographs.
- Faculty make use of the Station's eight nearby research farms, totaling 850 acres of prime fruit and vegetable soil, and 65,000 square feet of greenhouse space.
- The Raw Products Building provides fruit and vegetable processing facilities as well as refrigerated and controlled atmosphere storage.
