Nicholas Biebel ’14 and Madeline Olberg ’14 were cited for their outstanding GPAs, research acumen, and enthusiasm for plant sciences Dec. 5 during the 75th Annual Cornell Seed Conference held at the New York State Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva.

“It can take four years from planting seedling to having fruit. In the case of SnapDragon, as soon as we tasted the fruit, we decided to fast-track it and put it in test orchards at Cornell and on commercial farms," Susan Brown tells Growing Produce magazine.
